The Wellness Group Profile

Imagine a line of skin care products which not only help to prevent the signs of aging but were derived from all natural ingredients. How do you then market these products so they are recognised as natural products but are taken seriously by any person wanting products that are also effective?

The overview:
The Wellness Group approached us in 2002 to design them a corporate identity system, including a logo, stationery, brochures, and packaging.
Their products are unique in that they contain no fillers or chemicals, and pleasant to use, but their main point of difference is they were developed by a naturopath who works in the cosmetic surgery industry treating skin problems. The adage ‘first do no harm’ was a contradiction when she was prescribing chemical based products to her patients for lack of any other natural products to use!

The strategy:
We spent a lot of time working with The Wellness Group directors to discover where the products will be sold, how they will be sold, their price point, what their dream client is looking for, both as an end user and as a salon. The most essential points for us to establish was how their products were also different to that of the competition in order for us to put down in black and white.

The outcome:
The Wellness Group now have a corporate branding system which enables them to make informed decisions as to making better decisions for their advertising and marketing campaigns, and a set of guidelines for their internet presence which adds up to better brand management and creating a reminder of their business strategy,
