A clever name for some clever chaps

"We need a name that better fits what we do"

Gregor Electrical are a group of clever guys (and gals). They are a specialised team of Christchurch electrical engineers who create automation solutions for other clever industrial, aviation and manufacturing businesses.

As with many busy businesses, they've done what they do well for decades, but in order to grow, they realised that they needed a more apt name to better position them in their industry. Being to close to their business (and not ones to blow their own trumpet) they enlisted our help.

The process

Delineate took the team at Gregor through a process of discovery, and found out some more key points of this business. It was discovered that when a client works with a Gregor representative they actually have the brain power and experience of the entire team behind them. Every staff member takes the success of their client seriously, and conduct themselves with a 'big picture' attitude, picking up on potential problems, or opportunities, that would often be overlooked by another trades-person who is just their to do their job, and nothing more.

The new name

The new name "Swarm Intelligence" means the exponential increase in intelligence that comes from a group that act as one as opposed as the power of many individuals acting on their own. 

The tag line "A Smarter Way To Automate" acts as the descriptor, to educate to what the company does .

The new logo

The arrow is a key decision point in any automation process diagram. The dots represent the team of individuals behind the point of the arrow - the clients key contact person.
